FRIDAY FAVORITES.

Hey friends! Happy Friday! If you live in the Midwest, you may still have snow on the ground like us;) I am linking up today with AndreaNarci, and Erika and sharing some favorites.

First, we woke up to a winter wonderland yesterday and had about 3 inches of snow on the ground! For Southern Illinois, a snow before Thanksgiving is unheard of. We soaked it all up and had a great day!

This week is National Collection week for Operation Christmas Child so our church dropped off 230 shoebox gifts to a pickup location. If you haven’t heard about OCC I encourage you to consider getting involved. It has been a blessing to our family to pack boxes each year and it’s also a good teaching tool for the girls to shop, pack, and pray over boxes and the children that are countries away and will receive them.

Ok while we are on the subject of Christmas, this album has been on repeat in the car. We all are big For King & Country fans and they never disappoint. Christmas music is on loud over here!

I feel like I’ve mentioned these before, but these boogie boards are a past gift that the girls continue to play with over and over. They draw on them, Ellie creates comic strips on them, they are just great drawing pads. The best part is they use a watch battery (we’ve never had to replace theirs and they are on them ALL the time) and also they are quiet.

Ellies boogie board

Averys boogie board

Averys has 4 “pencil” things with it and a case around it to make it more toddler/preschooler friendly.

These would be great Christmas gifts if you ask my girls;)

As I’m finishing this I realize it’s all Christmas related. It wasn’t intentional but I promise next week to include some Thanksgiving stuff.

Have a great weekend!
