Hey friends! It’s the last day before Christmas break for the girls and Brandon and we are pretty holly and jolly about it over here! Christmas break is one of our favorite times of the year, the pajama days, the cocoa, the games and movies. Basically we love everything about it. Ha!
I picked Ellie up earlier this week and she was excited to show me her art project. How cute is this?! it’s hanging on her door and I think we will treasure it for years.
Anyone else just have way to much sugar in their house right now?! I feel like I’m Buddy the Elf;)
This year was the year Ellie started asking questions about Santa. We sat her down and talked about it and while she seemed pretty bummed about “knowing” when I told her we could go stocking stuffer shopping together she perked up and was happy to be in on some gifts. While it’s bitter sweet, it’s also part of getting older and it’s a fun time for us as parents to watch her grow. We had a rare shopping day last Saturday and it was a favorite for both of us.
Spirit week at the girls schools is a favorite for them. They love a themed day and have had the best time dressing up all week for it.
We went to visit the big guy last weekend, and while waiting our turn Mrs. Claus and the girls decided to wave to the cars on Main Street. This is our favorite place to see Santa and they are always awesome if you’re local I believe Santa will be back tomorrow uptown.
We were needing a small gift for a Christmas party coming up and I grabbed this. We love Blink at our house. It’s a quick and fun game and even Avery can play without help. If your family plays games over the holidays this would be a great one to grab for game night or even a stocking stuffer.
That’s it for today! One more class party and then we are Christmas break bound. Have a great weekend friends!
