Friday Favorites!

Hey friends! Happy Friday! Hope you guys are having a great week. Ours has seemed forever long, with the first week of school for the year and Brandon being gone an unusual amount for different things. But we’ve made it to Friday and that’s all that counts🙂

So below is a picture of bunny. And if you see my posts on Facebook you know bunny is Ellie’s favorite stuffed animal and has consistently been for years. Well, a few weeks ago Ellie had a total breakdown because she had lost bunny. We search and searched and tore up our house looking for this bunny. So you can imagine how shocked we were when I took Avery to school this week and her teacher handed me bunny! Apparently, Avery thought her teacher needed a stuffed bunny and threw it in her teaching bag🤦🏼‍♀️ A favorite of ours is not having to look for bunny again.

Another favorite is all the cuddles this girl has given lately. I’ve mentioned on here that she has a blood disorder like her dad and one of the symptoms she’s just started really struggling with is constant fatigue. So we’ve had lots of cuddles and couch time. The cuddles are a favorite but the blood disorder is obviously not. These planner notes from Ellie have us cracking up this week😂 The day before this she had her homework wrote down as easy and then hard. She struggles with organization (we may also🤷‍♀️) and time management. So we are happy to see small steps she is taking to work on her struggles.

We have hit the season of life we’re both girls are in school (Avery half days) and we can have day dates. It is the best and we plan to make it happen weekly. Mommas of littles, let me encourage you that you’ll get there soon also. I thought I would always be taking a kid to a Dr. Appt for myself, or meetings, or whatever I needed to be at because school age and both in school seemed so out of reach. So a lunch once a week without having to cut up a kids chicken is a big favorite these days.

That’s all for this week. Hope you guys have a great weekend!
