VALENTINES DAY.

Hey friends! I’m sharing all things Valentines today.

We hosted the girls 2nd Annual Galentines Party over the weekend. Last year the kids wanted to have a fun Valentines party and so it kind of stuck that we would do it every year. We decorate, send home party favors, play games, and eat all the festive things. Both girls invite one friend.

I’m not going to share pictures of the kids, but here is our set up. We just use what we have on hand and make it work.

The word block is TJ Maxx, pitcher vase is hobby lobby.

The girls have decorated their bedroom doors for an upcoming holiday for the last few holidays, and when they wanted to put these dogs on their doors for Valentines day I thought it would go cute with their party. We used jute and hot glued the dogs to the jute.

I bought  balloon arch tape to make more of an arch but when we started to fill it, I kind of liked that the balloons just hung a little more free. Highly recommend using the balloon arch tape, if you are planning a party.

We kept the dinner super simple with a cheese board (pepperoni, salami, fruit, cheese, crackers), and peanut butter and jelly uncrustables. We did fun candy type dessert and cookies. Think pink goldfish, starbursts unwrapped, strawberry mini poptarts and yogurt covered pretzels.

Then we played some games and watched Charlie Brown.

It was tons of fun for us to host, and hopefully fun for the girls and their friends too.

If you still need a Valentines idea for kids classrooms, these are what our girls are doing.

We made Ellies and printed them on scrapbook paper. Attached a fun gel pen to each one with washi tape and called it a day.

I think I’ve already shared Averys but I’ll leave it here too. The coloring cards are from Hobby Lobby, and the rainbow crayons we grabbed on Amazon but I can’t find them now.

Hope the rest of your week is great!
