FRIDAY FAVORITES. CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS.

Hey! Happy Friday! I’m linking up today with AndreaNarci and Erika and sharing favorites and since it’s the most wonderful time of the year, I thought I’d share our favorite Christmas traditions.

Some of these are things we’ve done since Ellie was born, and some we’ve more recently adopted to our family.

I help on a team at our church and every year we have all the kids make Christmas crafts in November  and when we go caroling in December at our local nursing homes we deliver crafts and cards for the residents. It is always such a blessing to the girls and I to be a part of this ministry.

Christmas Eve is our family night at home when we all open one gift (always Christmas jammies) and then drive around to look at Christmas lights in our jammies we then finish the evening with Brandon reading the Christmas story from the Bible. The last few years I have made a list of specific lights and decor to find because our girls love a scavenger hunt!

Watching all the kids perform in our Church kids program is always a favorite tradition. This year we have a Shepherd and an Angel;)

We always go to a local fairground and see their lights display and expo hall. They have fun activities and all kinds of vendors and trees decorated.

I’ve talked about this guy before. He’s our Shepherd and he’s with us all month searching for baby Jesus. Sometimes we hide him and they wake up and look for him, and sometimes he leaves notes for the girls with a bible verse or Christmas related activity on it.

So that is a handful of our favorites. Leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite Christmas tradition is.

I am off now to pack some of these into our weekend!
