WEEKEND GETAWAY.

Hey friends! I’m sharing our weekend away today, which happens to be all food, or topgolf pictures. Apparently that’s all I took pictures of.

We got Ellie to school Monday and Avery to grandma, then we left for St. Louis. We actually stayed in Chesterfield which is a bit outside of St. Louis.

We stopped for lunch on the way and then walked an outlet mall until check-in time. We checked in and then changed and went out to explore the town. We shopped, and then had a quick dinner and went back to the hotel to swim.

The next morning we decided to sleep in…because thats what you do when you don’t have kids for a weekend! When we got moving we decided to head to brunch at Bar Louie, and it did not disappoint! It was our first cool and crisp morning so it was the perfect start to fall.

We sat outside and had the best tator tot/queso dish. After brunch by the fire we headed straight to…

This is probably the most fun date that we’ve had in a long time. If you are around a topgolf we highly recommend it. It was so much fun, even though I lost.

After that we went to explore the town some more and stopped at some local stores. Then we ran across this bakery that offers wedding cake by the slice, so of course we had to have a piece (or two) because when its your wedding anniversary you partake in all things wedding related.

We went back to the hotel to change and head to dinner. The Old Spaghetti Factory is one of my favorites.

Then we called it an early night. The next morning we headed to our favorite orchard which happened to be on our way home. They were having their Apple Fest but had pumpkins available too. The pumpkins are always ginormous and they have the cutest displays!

We headed home after that and picked up the kids. Huge thanks to my in-laws for keeping the girls all weekend!
