Happy Friday! I’m late to say Happy New Year, but I’ll say it anyways;)
I took a blog hiatus through the girls Christmas break, and they started school again this past Monday so I’m back today and going to recap the break.
It was full of lots of late nights that turned into afternoon naps….This girl knows how to be cozy…
Lots of movies and puzzles. We went to the theater to see Wonka and we all loved it!
I didn’t take any pictures on Christmas Eve or Christmas, but Christmas Eve we spent with Brandons parents and his brothers family, and on Christmas we stayed home and my inlaws came over for a bit. It was a couple of great days with lots of fun. We spent the evening of Christmas packing because the next morning we left for a few days in the Nashville/Franklin area.
We didn’t do a ton while there, but did explore downtown (it’s so pretty and the local stores are cute). We didn’t plan to go back to ICE this year, but when they announced it was the Polar Express this year, we snagged tickets.

Then we headed into the exhibit and it was magical!
The trains were all so impressive…
The end always has a Nativity scene and this year was no different…
We finished off Nashville with some shopping and Dave & Busters…
This past weekend we headed a couple towns over to ice skate…
Break was the perfect amount of all the things.
Just so thankful for the downtime with my people.
