Well, that escalated quickly.

Brandon and I are now parents of a teenager!

Ellie has really gotten to big kid status on us in the last year or so, and so far we are loving her current stage of life. I know it will change and can get worse at some point…because teenagers, but right now it’s a pretty sweet spot to be in as her parents.

She’s got a heart of gold, super loyal to friends and is always happy to be a friend if someone needs.

She loves LEGOS (still!), reading (always), dogs, swimming, Gilmore Girls, game shows, writing small novels and drawing.

She’s super creative and still pretty quiet.

Today, she wants to Top Golf, Chick Fil A, Trader Joes and Half priced books (A girl after my own heart, other than the book part) Ha! Then she opted for an outdoor movie with friends coming over this weekend to celebrate her, so that’s what we will do.
