9! You guys?! How is that even real. Avery turns 9 today and we are excited to celebrate her all weekend.
It’s hard to think about how far she’s come since birth. Many of you prayed for our girl when she was a few days old and we suspected she had Brandons blood disorder (it’s hereditary, but skipped Ellie). I get emotional every year thinking back to where we started then health wise and where we are now with a pretty normal life with minimal complications.
Avery came in to the world like the tornado she still is. I was induced with her (on my mom and grandmas Birthday who both passed many years ago, making the day extra special to our family). She decided to make her appearance so quick that there was no time for that well thought out epidural plan I had in my head. And she’s been making her presence known ever since;)
Avery is joy! Usually she can find the good in anything and is always excited for everything. She loves a holiday, a theme, you name it. She’s in 3rd grade this year and doing well. Talks to much, but doing well;)
When we asked her what she wanted to do for her Birthday, she said a doll birthday party. So this weekend we will be celebrating with friends and dolls too.
Tonight is our towns annual Christmas tree lighting, and the Birthday girl is convinced the town is lighting up for her. #ofcourse
Happy Birthday Avery! We love you more than you know!
