Hey friends! Last night we had our back to school brinner so I thought I’d share that today. We have never done a back to school meal but another blogger posted about it and it seemed like such a fun idea.

I made this banner and put some faux apples in a vase with these fairy lights. We typically don’t decorate for back to school time but our little town also has an Apple Festival in a few weeks so we will keep up the apple decor for awhile.

I made an invite with scrapbooking paper and bought some sunflowers from our grocery store then the metal tray and word block we already had. The table runner I got last year and we will use it all fall and probably for winter decor too.

I also used scrapbook paper for placemats and chalked our names on them at the top corner. The napkins and plates were Fourth of July finds and I thought they matched well.

The kids were excited to have “fancy cups” which were plastic.

We talked about the upcoming school year, and our goals and what they want to accomplish this year.
