Happy Friday!
I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share favorites today.
Up first, our girl got to sign the famous Million Words Board! This is her 4th year or so hitting a million words read for the school year, and we are always so proud! In our school district as a whole, reading is rewarded and applauded when milestones are hit. This has made our girls so excited to reach reading goals and succeed in reading. Last year, they really couldn’t have million word club parties in the middle school, but Ellie went to one this week and was so excited to participate. Watching her excitement about things is a favorite of mine.
Speaking of reading, we have been reading the My Weird School series as a family at bedtime for months now (it’s a big series but easy quick reads) This Halloween Set was in my Amazon recommendations, and I think it would be a fun gift for Halloween for your kids if you have a 2-3 grader or just to read next week for fun.
The other day I was cleaning up and snapped this picture. As our girls get older, their bond and giggles get better. That’s a big favorite.
A card from my boo is a favorite…
We had some great camping weather last weekend! Actually, we had great camping weather last Sat/Sun. We won’t talk about Friday to much but in short, we drove through an awful hail storm to a campsite that had a power outage, then froze most of the night because of said power outage. Many other things went wrong along the way but by Saturday we had power and could laugh a little about it.
A quick stop for lunch after camping (and the ice cream too) was a family favorite.
Pumpkin Dip is a fall favorite. It’s the best with Vanilla Wafers, but when you only have graham crackers they will do.
Have the best weekend!
