Happy Friday! Whew….this week has been a mess. Nothing awful just many pivots in our usual routines because of the ice storm. We thrive on a routine around here (shocker huh;) so, we’ve been in chaos mode.

Up first, this girl would tell you she’s waited her whole life to cheer. We finally gave in and she started Upward Cheer a few weeks ago. It’s an impressive program, pointing the kids (and the adults as well) to Jesus. She is loving it.

Something about cold days makes me bake. We’ve had a Bundt cake obsession lately. Anyone else bake more in the winter?

A few weeks ago, we took the girls ice skating. We’ve went a couple times in past years, but we don’t have a permanent rink around us. They set up a temporary rink a few towns over and it was so fun!

Perks of being the little…. you get your sister to push you around on the dolphin.

Ellie and I had a super rare just us afternoon the other day while the others were busy, and we decided it would be best to spend it talking over cheese fries. Cheese fries are everybody’s favorite right?  The days are long but the years are so short. Can’t believe high school is in her very near future.
