Happy Friday! My girls wrapped up school this week, and today is the official start of summer break for them. We always love summer break and are very excited about this one.
It appears Ellie will end sophomore year with straight As! She’s made great grades the last several years, and while it’s never about the great report card to us, it is always about how she applies herself in situations and works hard. She also passed her drivers test earlier this week, and will get her license when she turns 16 in a month. We are finding ourselves in a whole new stage of parenting and while certain parts seem scary, watching her grow up and make decisions on life (mostly) on her own has been sweet too.

And, we no longer have a child in elementary school. We are very excited for Avery to be at the middle school next year. She had a great school year too, made honor roll & was a reading room helper (they ask some of the 5th graders to listen to the 3rd graders read in the mornings). She also made the color guard, and is so excited about that.

Avery has taken up baking, and it’s my favorite to sample her work and rate;)

In May-cember, we need all the party things. Ha. From Graduations, to family birthdays and everything in between, my Homegoods cart wasn’t sure what we are celebrating…

Camping is always a favorite, as is Averys face when she sunk a bag:)

And I love Red, White & Blue everything for the summer time, so these flowers are bringing lots of joy.

When in St. Louis, or at a Trader Joes in general, buy these! I’d even say they are better than name brand. Brandon had an appointment a few weeks ago, and the girls and I tagged along for some shopping.

Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend.
We are so thankful for all of those that fought, and have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.
