Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika today to share some favorites from our spring break.
We had a perfect mix of a mini trip and home time too.
We have done it both ways in the past for spring break: trips vs. stay home. And honestly, the girls I think prefer a mix of both. We found out Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was coming to The Fox Theater St. Louis and jumped at the chance to go to that over Spring Break.
We booked a hotel because fun! We love the Drury at Union Station and this time our room had a ferris wheel view so that was fun to watch. Union Station was empty (our favorite!) on a Tuesday afternoon when we went to walk around.

side note: 12 might be the best age ever. Just when I thought she’d give a hard pass to the carousel, she wanted to ride. The perfect blend of kid/teen that’s where we are with her right now, and most days we love it!
We got ready, had dinner at the hotel and took the dogs out real quick (have dogs, will travel;) Then headed to the Fox Theater for Charlie…

The next day, we woke up and headed to charming St. Charles to shop their main street, then home.
It was the best couple of days!
