I thought I’d share some of our favorite summer items today. The things we stock up on every year, and a few new finds too.

I seen someone else buy a family calendar for their summer, and it was a great idea. Ellie for the most part doesn’t care or can keep track of the days and plans, but Avery will drive a person mad asking how many days until this or that;) So we all now have a calendar at eye level with everything on it. This calendar is a great size for our fridge.
Every year we end up with blonde heads turned chlorine green add in the after swim tangles and the girls hair is a summery mess. We searched for a great swim shampoo and think we’ve found it with this one. It seems to get all the build up out and leaves their hair feeling clean.
We are all pretty fair skinned in this house so good sunscreen is a must. I grabbed this face sunscreen this year and it is lightweight and sheer. A great price too.
I’ve posted this before but we love witch hazel for many things. We always have a bottle or two on hand and the coconut water scent is our favorite.
We have been “rigging” our electronics to have outdoor movies until about a month ago. We grabbed this movie projector to not have to rig anymore. It was on lightening deal then and seems to go on sale pretty often. It comes with a screen to project onto and the sound and picture quality is pretty good. You can plug and play from your phone (iphones need a special cord) and I see many more movie nights in our future.
We’ve had so much rain lately, and it made me realize we need more indoor fun. I grabbed this bead set in hopes it will be something to do on a rainy day in the future. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I’ll keep you posted. All those bright colors look like they will be a favorite.
