Hey friends! It’s a busy week over here at the Byars house. We have a lot of birthdays and celebrations coming up all in the next 2 weeks so basically, if you need me I will be priming and wrapping all the things;)

I wanted to write a Fathers Day post about Brandon, but first want to reach out and say that my feelings about Mothers day hold true for fathers day too. My dad past away shockingly 12 years ago and his birthday was June 17th, which is the day after Fathers day this year. So I’m praying for anyone hurting this Fathers day.

When Ellie was born (on fathers day, but you’ve all heard that by now) I really had no idea what kind of dad Brandon would be, other than I knew he would be hands on and fully involved. The girls totally hit the jackpot with him (I did too) he is the best dad.

He is always up for an adventure! A trip away, a day away whatever. I usually am like “lets plan a trip” and he says deal. We love traveling with our kids, it isn’t always easy but he’s a big part of why it works. His view is you can’t put a price on quality family time and I love that he’s intentional.

He never misses a first day of school, or an awards day. Like never can I remember one he’s missed.

He also can paint fingernails, and do ponytails like the best of them.

What color are his eyes and hair: blue eyes, he is bald;)

What is his favorite thing to eat: Spaghetti

What is his favorite thing to drink: Mt. Dew

He is really good at: Sewing (he’s been known to sew up stuffed animals for the girls)

He always says: Go to the corner (HA)

He is happy when: When I’m nice

He is great because: He hangs up pictures (we’ve been doing lots of that lately)

My favorite thing to do with him: Go to Panda Express

I love my dad because: He’s great

He is really good at: Grilling

He is happy when: Avery and I behave

He is great because: God made him that way

My favorite thing to do with him: Build Legos

I love my dad because: hes funny
