Hey friends! Happy Friday. I typically link up on Fridays to share some favorites, but this week is different.

I came across this video the other day and I’m sure you guys have seen it too. I didn’t follow the news when it happened, but the police officer fatally shot this guys brother and was on trial for it. This brothers love for Jesus and others shows when he forgives the ex-officer for her wrong doing. I was sobbing by the end of it and it got me thinking if we were all a little more kind, more respectful and more forgiving how much better the world could be.

This weeks been a tough one for our community. We are on day 2 of a teacher strike over here, with really no end in sight. I don’t need to share my opinion on it here, because it will  not do any good. I will say the hatefulness and name calling has been out of control and we have to do better as a community. Our kids are hearing every word and watching every step. All that to say, let’s work harder at being kind, respectful and forgiving.
