Happy Friday!

We knew Indiana Dunes was a short drive from Chicago, so we decided to make a second leg of vacation and after the city life for a few days, the beach was a perfect end to our trip. 

We had you tubed and googled the dunes but none of that prepared us for the beauty of it in person. It was so pretty. 

We basically spent all our time at the beaches there. The water was a bit chilly but it was hot when we were there so we didn’t mind. The water was crazy blue and I feel like we didn’t realize how blue it was for lake water until we were there. 

Is it a beach day without a Capri Sun;) 

We played all day. This was the Washington Park Beach in Michigan City, IN. It was super sandy. 

The next day we went to one of the National Park beaches because it was pet friendly. It was more rocky than the other beach.

Bond liked people watching and would get in the water every so often for a cool down. 

This house had the best view of the lake and beach and would be Averys dream house. I was getting major Malibu Barbie vibes just looking at it. 

That night, we cleaned up and took some beach pictures before dinner…

We were all a bit sad to leave, but happy to get home to our own beds too. This vacation was one for the books for sure!
