Hey Hey! Happy Friday and happy first day of summer to our girls! We live for summer around here so we are all super excited for a more laid back few months.

We’ve had some pretty exciting things happen in our house the last couple months, so I thought I’d do a family round up here;)

1. Ellie just finished middle school. It’s wild to think about but we are so so proud of her. She (and us too) are looking forward to high school in the fall.
2. She had end of year awards this week and we are so proud! The PRIDE award is character based and the one we are most proud of, but she had a good year overall for sure.
3. Top reader in 8th grade….which will surprise no one really if you know her. She read 4.6 words (and some change, every word counts;) Everyone seemed to be impressed when the teacher announced that, except Ellie who was really trying for 5 million and came so close!

1. Avery wrapped up 3rd grade this week and had a good year. My girls have both had more bad years than good (school wise and in fully transparency) so to have a good one, is a win over here.
2. Ellie isn’t the only reader;) Avery has taken more interest in reading lately and we are so thankful! It was rough cultivating that love for books but I think (fingers crossed) she’s hooked now.
3. Taylor Swift obsessed! Our girl often has Taylor Swift playing on Alexa.

The rest of us….

1. Brandon graduated college last week! We are crazy proud. Marriage young and babies young meant we did things in a different order than most but that’s ok! He worked full time, schooled on the weekends or when the girls were in bed, and almost always has a side hustle of sorts happening. We are so proud of him and looking forward to more free time to enjoy….
2. Our new camper! We purchased a new camper a few weeks ago and are thrilled to have ac and heat. Ha! We’ve taken it on one trip so far and have many more scheduled for summer.
3. Not much to update on me:) I’m still coordinating all the chaos for our crew and will spend my summer days between work, dropping kids at a day camp somewhere and hopefully soaking up all the sun.
