I wanted to to take today to recognize Memorial Day coming up, and it also didn’t seem appropriate for me to share favorites this week with all the heaviness of the country.

Like most Americans, I’m so thankful for those who served and lost their lives for me in battle. It is not lost on me that huge sacrifice so many have made for us.

I also want to share that I am praying for Texas and our nation. It is time to pray and also can be a time to call your senators, request change etc. It’s ok to do both and we all don’t have to agree on our stance. But I think we’d all agree that those babies and teachers should have made it home from school that day.
