Hey friends! We are one week away from Christmas Eve which seems so crazy! December flies every year and I think we wrapped up the shopping yesterday for our crew. But today I wanted to take a minute to slow down and write about something that is always on my heart at Christmas time.

I think sometimes when we are wrapped in the hustle of the holidays, and the joy and smiles it often brings, we forget about the heartache others feel this time of the year. We’ve had our share of heartache for the holidays in years past. From a couple years in a row of both my parents and a sister in laws death, to struggling thru secondary infertility, to having a very sick newborn freshly diagnosed with a disease right at Christmas time. Those were the years that we put on a fake smile and just made it through because we had to. Maybe some of you are feeling the same way this year. I want to let you know you’re not alone. That I will pray for you and that God will see you through.
