FRIDAY FAVORITES.

Happy Friday!

It’s been a bit since I’ve done a Friday Favorites link up, so I’m joining Erika and Andrea to share today.

A few weeks ago after school we headed to Balloon Fest. I grew up going to it with my family, and Brandon did as well with his family. We love taking the girls and continuing the tradition. This year the weather was iffy right up until the last minute, but a few balloons still flew while some just stayed in the park and put on a show.

Last Friday an after school coffee date happened. We love Cold Blooded Coffee in Murphysboro. They bought some of Brandons games a few months ago for customers to play, and the girls get so excited to see their dads woodwork featured when we are out and about. The coffee and his games are a favorite of ours.

A big favorite around here is all the grilled food. That’s probably one of the things I miss throughout winter is Brandons grilled cooking. Avery being his assistant the other day was a sweet favorite.

A favorite of mine is watching Ellie work hard to earn what she wants. I’ve mentioned before that she’s mowed all summer and made great money doing that (big thanks mostly to our neighbors and my uncle) and now that mowing season is coming to an end, she has moved on to invent book gems. She loves to read so having a pretty gem to mark her page is perfect for her, and selling them is an added bonus.

I’ve been out of the lunch game since our girls spent the 2020 school year full remote. So when they headed to school this year I grabbed these lunchbox note cards. They are fun and colorful and I need them to never outgrow lunch notes, though I’m not even sure they look at them.

That’s it for this week!
